Happy New Year 2007!

Happy New Year To All!!

I hope 2007 is good to you and yours. Well, I figure after 7 years it’s safe for me to exit my Y2K bunker. It’s a good thing too. I opened the last can of Spam from my rations box last night. Thank God for being able to buy in bulk! I can’t wait to see blue skies again and feel the warmth of the sun. I hear they make cars now that run on electricity and gas. They’re called hybrids or something like that. Maybe I’ll get to see one when I climb out.

Happy New Year!

I tried every ATM in the city. They all worked just fine. I miss Y2K when you had the promise of stuff backfiring.

Okay, but if you were in a nuclear-war bunker, you'd be in there a whole lot more than a measly 7 years.

Oh..you must have been in there with my father in law. I think he still has KY2 (he didn't even know WHY he needed a bunker) provisions in his basement.

Happy Ne Year! How did you find out all thoe fun little news type tidbits from a bunker? How did you have an Internet connection good enough to post as often as you do down there? How did you even know about blogs? I think you're fooling.

spam makes me gag...I remember having to eat a spam sandwich my grandma made for me. My mom said I would get it when we got home if I didn't eat the whole thing.

As I chewed and gagged, I had tears streaming down my cheeks....I still have nightmares that a can of spam is chasing me.

Welcome back to the world. I think I'd rather die than eat Spam, but I'm happy your supplies got you through.
