Great lists! Oddly coincedental, my Father-in-law is in almost all Reagan biographies, as he worked for him. My Husband has 1 of the thousands of letters that Reagan wrote. Culinary school should top your list. Even if you take a few favorite subject classes, it counts. (chocolate, deep-frying, etc..lol) I LOVE #3 on things you've learned in the last year, I too learned that this morning when my 2 year old was following me around the house saying dammit, as I was trying to get out and make cheesecake deliveries. Gotta love 'em!!

You have stolen from my list! I have to have a book published too, but I have decided it must be Penguin New York, hmm one must aim high :)

Chefmom: I actually met Reagan in his office back in 1997. We both worked in the same building - the one used in the first Die Hard movie. They took a bunch of pics of me shaking his hand and had them printed for me!

La Sapphire: I'll go with anyone who wants to publish me. I'm a desperate fool ;-)

We have a few photos of my husband and Reagan together. When Reagan was in office, his brothers and sisters went to visit and had some pictures taken. My husband has a letter written to him, from the the age of thirteen, when he had his gallbladder removed, and Reagan wrote him a VERY personalized letter. It was so sweet, he went as far as to find out what sport my husband was into and would be missing at the time, he wrote that he knew he'd be back up and running soon. I will do a post soon, so you can see it. My Father-in-law worked for Nixon (yikes, I don't ask), Ford and Reagan. How COOL and Coincedental that you worked in the same building. My husband says Reagan was an incredible man.
And I'm with Meleah....Nascar?? Really?? Circles, and circles and circles...is it the crashes that intice (sp?) you men???? Sorry, long post! But I still love the leg lamp!

Patti: Hmmm, a photo. We'll see ;-)

Meleah: yeah, NASCAR. It's my passion. Please, please still be my twin!! ;-)

Chefmom: That is so very cool!! For almost a year I got to see Reagan either coming or going with his secret service detail every day. They took a bunch of photos and I'll always have those to share. And yeah, I'm a HUGE NASCAR fan. Wow, I can feel the respect I'm losing from my fellow bloggers as I typed that.
:-D

That was funny - I especially love the "What would Michael Scott do in this situation?" I finally got my hands on the Season 3 dvd's and am super happy with the way they ended that season... now I just have to be patient for Season 4 to come out to dvd...
